I ordered the Neptuse NF Down Jacket for my wife for Valentine's Day. Shipping was fast. Quality of product was great. My wife is petite. The small size fits her perfectly. The waist has a tailored look as it tapers towards the mid-section. She loved the pockets and collar as they are lined in a soft fabric. She also like the small hidden pockets inside the jacket. We have been experianceing sub zero temps here in Iowa and the jacket keeps her so warm, she unzips to cool herself down. Altrec.com shipped the product fast (paid for 3 day shipping and had it in 2 days!). The communication between company and myself was great (never felt uncomfortable purchasing from this online retailer). Two thumbs up for the Womans Neptuse Jacket and Altrec.com. I would purchase from Altrec again.

As a poor college student, I have been buying cheaper jackets for years. I finally spent a little more money, and it was so worth it! This is the warmest jacket I've ever had, I got it in black and it looks great for casual, dress, skiing, etc. My mom wants one now too. I would recommend this coat to anyone!

I appreciate the great service of the Altrec Team. Everything was just in time and uncomplicated. The Merrell Women's Chameleon Arc Gore-Tex XCR Hiking Shoes are very comfortable. I usually have problems wearing new hiking shoes but I feel well from the first moment on in these shoes. The colour canteen doesn't totally fit with the preview on the website. It is rather tan than grey but I like it better. Usually I am wearing size 8 but according to another review I choose size 8.5 and experienced this to be the right decision.

I decided to order these shoes on-line because I have been happy with Merrell in the past and was looking for a new pair of waterproof hikers. They arrived a few days before a big trip and I was relieved that they fit and felt great right off the bat. Great for hiking or street wear. They are a bit heavy (expected with this type of shoe) and need to be double knotted, but otherwise free of issues. Haven't tested waterproof ability yet but I am very satisfied with them so far.

Typically, I wear Chaco sandals to hike in southern California but I needed something more substantial for a trip to Alaska in July. I was worried these would feel bulky and look even bulkier but neither is true! They were super comfortable right out of the box, didn't make my feet look too big and are really well made. The black/pewter are more charcoal grey/pewter and they do seem to run a 1/2 size small (I ordered a 7.5 instead of my normal 7s, and they fit perfectly).
